Anything that is LL-01 approved by BMW. My local Wal-Mart stocks Pennzoil Euro Formula and also Castrol Euro Formula both LL-01 approved.

I ended up going with the Pennzoil Euro Formula 5w30. What's crazy is for last 3 years, I've been using the Castrol Edge Extended Performance 5w30 and once I used Castrol GTX Magnatec 5w30.

If Ferarri uses Pennzoil in their engines I think it's good enough for a n63.

oil change fix

in N63tu manual

the oil recommendation BMW Longlife-01 FE & BMW Longlife-01 is low SAPS type of oil i did my search what is it and unfortunately the low saps is low in additives to protect the engine to protect the cataylic converters!!!!!.

first: the solution should be by putting a higher flow catts that end the need to put low quality oil " low SAPS".

second: what is the viscosity should we put? the owner manual state that you can put "belongs to one of the viscosity grades SAE 0W-40, SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-40, and SAE 5W-30 or malfunctions or engine damage may occur.

if this the case the oil cannot be chosen above or below what the recommend due to main bearing clearance and rod bearing clearance, you need to have the oil lubricating these parts!

the only issue that i did understand that the German manufacturer did is to pass fuel emission with these type of catts that we all need to remove.

i wish that what i said is correct and will not do any harm to anyone.

what i done is 0w40 amsoil SS and high flow catt 200 cel to deal with the issue of not putting high quality oil.

alert if you choose to change the oil without the replacment of the catt it can clog the catts which can cause a problem that you dont need.
