Hello everyone I have a 550i 2011

My engine locked up so I’ll change the engine from junk yard so should I replace rod bearing and valve stem seal with the new engine?

Yes, if the engine is already out then definitely tackle those points as it’ll be easier to do while it’s still out of the car.

Yes, in your engine it is better to use a crankshaft from more recent N63 models. An old crankshaft is prone to engine blocking.
