Need help with the restraint error
Initially, my car had zero error.
I've put M4 seat in my F30, then it was doing ok, no error codes. However, recently, after heavy rain, there has been driver restraint error came up on my dash, also calibration needed error came up. So I decided to just move back with my original seat, and after i changing them out, passenger restraint error came up along with driver restraint error. I scanned it, then there were bunch of errors, like FEM, ACSM, I think these were minor. First two was error before i attempted with E-sys, third picture is after.. I was trying to code out passenger seat senor to disable to make the passenger restraint error out. Passenger restarint is gone now, but i have bunch of other errors.. I followed this thread: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1817495 Basically disabled: Occupancy sensor: CIS_Beifaher: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv Driver seat airbag: Sitzairbag_Thorax_Fahrer: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv Driver seat position sensor memory: Sitzpositionsensorserkennung_Sitzmemory_Fahrer: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv Sitzpositionsensor_Fahrer: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv After i get more errors, I attempted to load the original and coded it, but errors persist... Please help me..! |

since going back to stock seat didnt make any difference, i went ahead and changed back to M4 seat. still have restraint errors, and passenger seat not moving after 30sec...
Is there any one know how to code FDL for passenger seat module so i can move the seats? Also, since i went to M4 seat, i want to code the heat seat function. I'm planning to buy heat seat button AC. |

You need to update the VO, so it refelcts the correct equipment level, including making the car think it is a M4 (only for coding the modules involved in the change-look for dependencies) using E-sys.
