F31 Reversing Camera Retrofit
Evening all.
Working my way through a rear camera retrofit on my wagon. Have fitted the camera and run the cable up to the head unit. Can post pics of cable routing if people are at all interested... Whilst I'm waiting for a hardware to be sorted out by the supplier I'm wondering about the coding side of things. Can I do the coding through the BimmerCode app or will I need to use something else? If you could find out all the coding parts you need to change you may be able to do it with Bimmercode, but really you need to VO code the option in so need Esys.

I used these guides:
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=873744 I used a simpler method from an eBay seller and cost half for the parts than the oem stuff, but all plugs in as oem. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-dynam...item3d2984d640 |

I've installed a dash cam to my previous F30 and managed to hide all the wires discretely. Just wondering if anything changes with it being a reverse camera and with wires going behind the centre console. |
