Chicago land dealer for inspection
Any recommendations? I'm coming up on 76k miles and the car is informing me it's due for an inspection.
I bought the car at Laurel but did not have the best experience with their service department. Perillo would be the most convenient, but being in the city I feel like they're gonna charge more. |

If you're willing to drive, there are 2 really good independent shops. LukeG workshop in Roselle and Fluid Motor Union in Naperville. Helmut & Vito's on Ogden in Downers Grove has been around forever and specializes in Euro cars.

Yeah the guys at Laurel are nice folks but I think they're just stretched way to thin.
I had a squeak coming from my left front, said I had to replace the shocks wound up replacing the rear shocks. Then later another tech was like why don't we try lubing the caliper slide and voila that was it. 10 min fix tops. Thankfully I did not pay for those rear shocks. |
